Enviro-Safe is an environmentally friendly, premium quality, interior & exterior paint with virtually no odor, no VOCs, and no toxic preservatives or toxic fumes.  Formulated for cleaner air; great for residential and commercial use.

Finishes

Enviro-Safe Paint is available in flat, satin or semi-gloss finishes in popular standard colors.  We have a color wheel with over 980 colors to choose from or custom colors are available using no VOC tints.  Please allow about 1 week for custom colors.  Satin (low gloss) and semi-gloss (medium gloss) are both scrubable where extra washability is needed.  Exterior paint is available in satin finish only.

Enviro-Safe Paint is designed specifically to improve air quality.  This is important inside the airtight energy efficient homes and office buildings of today, as well as outside to reduce air pollution.

About VOCs

VOCs (volatile organic compounds) are chemicals which evaporate into the air and react with sunlight to form ground level ozone.  The concentrated ozone combines with other pollutants to form smog.  All Enviro-Safe Paints are low (2 grams/liter) or no VOC.  Maximum acceptable levels vary between 50 G/L for flat paint and 150 G/L for non-flat.

Enviro-Safe Paint Use Notes

For use on:  Drywall, plaster, wood, brick, stucco and previously painted surfaces.  Satin finish can also be used on galvanized metal, concrete and vinyl, aluminum or hardboard siding. 

Application:  Stir paint thoroughly with a circular, lifting motion.  Apply by brush, roller or spray.  Thinning is not usually required; however, if necessary thin very sparingly with water.

New Surfaces:  Make certain the surface is clean, dry and free of foreign matter.  Prime any unpainted surfaces.  Priming can also help save money by serving as the first coat for the more expensive satin or semi-gloss finishes.

Previously Painted Surfaces:  Surface should be free of dirt, grease and chalky or loose paint.  Enameled or glossy areas must be sanded to insure proper adhesion.

Coverage:  Approximately 350 sq. ft. per gallon depending on surface porosity.  Some colors may require a second coat.  Accent base colors sometime require 3-4 coats. 

Cleanup:  Wipe up drips and spills immediately with damp cloth.  Brushes and other tools should be cleaned in warm soapy water immediately after use.

Drying Time:  Less than one hour under normal conditions.  May be recoated in 4 hours.  Allow minimum of 10 days cure time before washing.

Cautions:  Do not apply if surface temperature is below 50^o.  Do not take internally.  Close container after each use.  Keep out of reach of children.

Ingredients:  Water, titanium dioxide, acrylic resin.
